We recall many enjoyable evenings spent with Simon and Caroline discussing the state of the world and what was happening in our lives but our fondest memories of Simon stem from him sharing his love of music. We recall him being one of the first people to mention The Arctic Monkeys to us and his enthusiastic singing along to 'I bet that you look good on the dancefloor'. He was in awe of their lyrics. Then there was the highly entertaining Abba karaoke round their house - not sure who shone the most there. And of course the glitterball came out for the home spun indie disco. Simon's love of travelling, also extended into an exploration of the local alcohol that could be consumed. On our evenings together, John recalls sampling some eyewatering spirits which Simon had brought back from holiday! We are so saddened to hear of Simons' passing and although we didn't get together often, we will miss our catch ups. Sending all our love to his family in this most difficult of times.
