Adrian Myhill 13th March 2023

Only just heard the sad news of Simon’s passing. He was a good friend in our first few years at the Geoffrey Chaucer School (as it was back then). He taught me a lot about sea fishing and was funny, kind and thoughtful. He was also very clever and clearly destined for great things. I remember us both having to walk back most of the way from Canterbury once when we were 11 or 12 because the school bus couldn’t make it through the snow. His legs were so long even then I think he found it a bit easier than me! He definitely helped keep moral high. So nice to read the comments from friends and colleagues in his adult years. He obviously lived a full life until his unfortunate accident and I’m not surprised to hear that he helped so many people in their careers. It was a pleasure to know you mate! Thoughts are with your family.
